- You want a site built around photographs rather than a general website you then have to make photographic — and you want it for £6/month rather than $25/month.
- You deliver shoots to clients: Lenzl has client galleries, QR-code session access, favourites and downloads built in, which on Squarespace you would be assembling from pages and plugins.
- You want to sell photographs with 0% commission on Pro; Squarespace's Basic plan carries a 2% online store transaction fee, and 0% starts on Core.
Choose Squarespace if
- You need a genuinely general-purpose website — blog, services pages, booking, courses, email campaigns, a shop selling things that are not photographs. Squarespace is far better at building a whole business site than Lenzl is, and that is not a close call.
- Design flexibility matters more than photo-specific tooling: Squarespace's template and editing system is much broader than Lenzl's eight layouts.
- You want one vendor for the site, the domain, the store and the marketing email, with a support organisation to match.
- You already run a Squarespace site and only need to add a gallery — moving the whole site to save a few pounds a month rarely pays.

It depends what the site is for. Squarespace is a better general website builder — more templates, more page types, more commerce.
