Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Lenzl (“we”, “us”, “our”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all users — individuals and businesses alike.

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading you grant Lenzl a licence to host and display it solely to operate the platform. You are solely responsible for:

• Owning or having the right to share everything you upload.
• Obtaining any model releases or property permissions needed.
• Ensuring your content does not infringe any third party's rights.

You must not upload anything that is illegal, obscene, harmful, defamatory, or that violates Stripe's Prohibited Businesses policy. We may remove content and suspend accounts without notice for violations.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By connecting a Stripe account you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

Platform fee. Lenzl charges a fee on each transaction. The applicable rate is shown in your payment settings and depends on your subscription plan. Fees are non-refundable once a transaction is processed.

Payouts. Earnings appear in your Lenzl account balance immediately after a sale. Due to Stripe's minimum hold period, funds are released to your connected bank account 7 days after each transaction. You can choose automatic daily payouts or manage payouts manually from your payment settings. Stripe may apply additional holds at its discretion for risk or compliance reasons.

Chargebacks and disputes. You are solely responsible for all disputes raised by buyers. You agree to cooperate with any chargeback investigation. If a chargeback is upheld, the amount (including fees) is deducted from your Stripe balance. Lenzl accepts no liability for disputed transactions.

Negative balances. If your Stripe account has a negative balance you are solely responsible for bringing it to zero. Stripe may offset negative balances against future payouts or seek recovery directly.

Tax. You are responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings. Lenzl does not withhold tax and does not provide tax advice.

Lenzl is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid to Lenzl in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, data loss, or any loss arising from a transaction between a photographer and a buyer.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

We process your data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or where required by law or Stripe. Sections 3, 4, 5, and 8 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
